No ‘Sunday curfew’ on May 31: BS Yediyurappa

Bengaluru, 30 May 2020: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Saturday, May 30 clarified that the government has decided to cancel Sunday curfew in the state.

 

 

The decision of canceling of total lockdown on Sunday, May 31 was taken following the public demand and keeping in mind the best interests of the people.

 

Yediyurappa also announced that all routine activities will be in operation as usual.

 

The state government had eased restrictions during Lockdown 4 for start of economic activities like city buses, inter-district bus service, intrastate train services, the opening of shops, and markets.

 

However, the government had made it clear that there will be Janata Curfew every Sunday till May 31 during which only essential services would be permitted.
