Udupi: Pangala parish observes Palm Sunday

Udupi, 30 Mar 2015: St John the Evangelist Church, Pangala, Shankarapura near here observed the triumphant entry to Jerusalem popularly known as ‘Palm Sunday’ on March 29.
 
The parishioners gathered near the school premises on Sunday at 7:00am.
 
Fr Vincent Coelho, principal of St John P U College, and Pangala parish priest Fr Leslie D’Souza blessed the Palm leaves and were then distributed to the people.

 

 

It was followed by a procession to the Church. The Eucharistic celebration was celebrated by Fr Vincent Coelho. The liturgy of the day was enhanced by the melodious parish choir.
