Toastmasters Area 55 Joint Meeting held at ISC Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 16 August 2012:  Toastmasters International is the leading movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality.  Through its member clubs, Toasmasters International helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking – vital skills that promote self-actualization enhance leadership potential, foster human understanding and contribute to the betterment of mankind.  It is basic to this mission that Toastmasters International continually expand its worldwide network of members clubs, thereby offering ever-greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from its programs.

In U.A.E. too there are several Toastmasters clubs are encouraging, motivating and inspiring many young people to join and make best use of their vocal talents, enhance themselves to be the leaders of the world tomorrow.

On this basic principle and under the slogan: To Nurture, Inspire, Innovate Keen Vision”  the Area 55 of Toastmasters International club of U.A.E  held a joint meeting at the Indian Social and Cultural Centre on Monday to meet and exhibit their talents. The Area Governor TM Ashit and his team were conducted the meeting in high professional standards with great respect. The Area 55 is having five clubs named: NMC Community Toastmasters, Velosian Abu Dhabi Toastmasters, Inner Universe Toastmasters, Kera Toastmasters and ISC Toastmasters. TM Thomas Pandari( President of ISC Toast Masters Club) and his team with ISC Officials were arranged the meeting in high professional standards. Past Area Governors, Ex. Office Bearers, Senior Toast Masters, ISC Officials and welcome Guests were supported with their presence.

 

 

 

 All the presidents of the above clubs TM Prasad Kondepudi, TM Ramesh N.V. CC, TM Bhasker R M, TM Jehas V. Habison, TM Thomas Pandari, ACS, ALB respectively join hands at the dais and delivered their messages.  TM Sathyanarayan Elargal, CL Toastmaster of the day welcomed the ISC Hon. President (Acting) Mr. JACOB P.S. to address the audience.  In his presidential address he was pleased to see the large number of attendance and stressed the importance of being a Toastmaster and said that he too will be joining the TM club soon.

TM of the day then introduced the officers on duty namely TM Kapil Suri Wordmaster , TM Jehas V. Habison – Grammarian, TM Riju Abraham – Ah Counter, TM Mnish & TM Gurumurthy –Timers and TM Srinivas – Quizmaster.

In the Speech Projects 35 section, speeches were held on highly  interesting topics  i.e. Emergency Evacuation by TM Santhosh Shetty, ACB, ALB, ‘ The Miracle Tree “ Moringa Oleifera” by MTM Esther Sabijon, “Black Gold “ by TM Raj Shekar ACB  Colour of Friendship by TM Basil Consera ALB,  and God’s Particle by TM Anzil Rehman.

The table topics section was conducted by TM Jayaram Rai, Asst. Area Governor (Founder President of ISC Toast Masters Club) and TM Lionel with excellent chemistry.  It was new humorous concept introduced for the first time in the history of Toast masters and it was a super hit and the members had a good rib tickling fun. The entire audience wholeheartedly appreciated and enjoyed the full session.

TM Noel Fernades was the general evaluator and played his role with professional standard. He introduced all the evaluators and evaluated their speeches with sincere advise. And also he appreciated all the key role players for their dedications and he was delighted and highly appreciated the Table Topic Session.

The keynote of the day was delivered by Dr. Mapolin Fernandes on Stress Management and she introduced some stress management tips to the members.

For prize distribution Area Governor invited Mr. Jacab, Mr. Alphonse and Mr. Jayachandra on to the stage. Finally a group photo has taken for the remembrance of great achievement of Area 55.

Meeting closed and invited all for dinner.
