Bharat Co-op Bank opens sixty-first branch at Bhiwandi

Mumbai, Dec 09, 2014: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited opened its sixty-first branch at Navkar Heights building, Anjoorfata, Old Agra Road, Bhiwandi, here on Monday December 8.
The Bank chairman Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the new branch by cutting the ribbon here on Monday morning. Billawar Association – Bhiwandi Committee president Jayaram M Poojary inaugurated the branch by lighting the lamp.
The Bank senior director Pushpalata N Salian inaugurated the ATM kiosk at the new branch. The Bank director and Billawar Association Mumbai® vice president Jyoti K Suvarna inaugurated the safe lockers. The Bank CEO and managing director C R Mulky inaugurated the banking services.
Navkar Heights building owner Jignesh Shah, Billawar Association – Bhiwandi Committee office bearers Shankar V Poojary, Dev S Poojary, Shobha Shanker Poojary, Rajesh S Poojary, Umesh Suvarna, hotelier Santosh M Shetty, Mafat Singh Farmer, Divakar Salian, Srinidhi Kamat, Rajnikantbai Gudka, Ashok Shah, Sirish Kamble and hundreds of Bank customers and well wishers were present.
The Bank directors Ashok M Kotian, Bhaskar M Salian and Gangadhar J Poojary, chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, general manager Shobha Dayanand, deputy chief general managers Vivek S Shanbagh, Suresh S Salian, Mohandas Hejmady and Navinchandra S Bangera, chief manager Gopal Kotian, Bank development officer Sunil Gujaran, Vijay Palan, Bharat Bank Employees Union secretary Dinesh Sanil were also present.
The Vedic celebrants Shekar Shanti and Dhananjay Shanti Ulloor performed religious celebrations at the new branch and distributed the prasadams.
The new branch manager Rajesh K Anchan and Manvi Jayalaxmi Rajesh couple was present during Vedic celebrations.
Rajesh Anchan welcomed the gathering. The branch assistant manager Satish Suvarna proposed vote of thanks. The Bank general manager Nityanand D Kotian compered the programme.
