Bharat Co-op Bank opens fifty-sixth branch at suburban Virar

Mumbai, 21 Oct 2014: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited opened its fifty-sixth branch at Poonam Kalpavraksha Building, Virat Nagar, Virar (West), here on Tuesday October 21.
Billawar Association Mumbai® honorary president and the Bank chairman Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the fifty-sixth branch at Virar (West) here by cutting the ribbon on Tuesday morning.
The local entrepreneur and social worker Virar Shankar Shetty inaugurated the new branch by lighting the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Virar Shankar Shetty said that Bharat Bank has become a leading bank because of the long range plans of chairman Jaya Suvarna. Its indeed common man’s bank because it has helped them to explore their entrepreneurial potentials, said Birar Shankar Shetty.
Jaya Suvarna said that the Bank has progressed because of customers’ loyalty of wide clientele regardless caste, creed and faith. The Bank has bagged several awards for its efficient service and handling of accounts. He also assured to lead the Bank for further prosperity.
The Bank deputy chairperson advocates Rohini J Salian inaugurated ATM kiosk. The local entrepreneur Shankar Shetty inaugurated safe lockers. The local MLA Kshitij Hitendra Takoor inaugurated banking services.
The Bank CEO and managing director C R Mulky, general manager Nityanand D Kotian, directors Bhaskar M Salian, advocate S B Amin, Rohit M Suvarna, Damodar C Kundar, K B Poojary, Gangadar J Poojary, Suryakant J Suvarna, Ashok M Kotian and Jyoti K Suvarna, former director N M Sanil, social activists Jagdish Amin Nallasopara, Karunakar Amin Vasai, Jagannat Rai, D C Kundar, Pramod Suvarna, Ritesh Poojary and others were present.
The Bank chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, general manager Shobha Dayanand, deputy general managers V S Shanbagh, Vishwanat Suvarna, Navinchandra Bangera, Suresh Salian, advocate U Dhananjay Kumar, Mohandas Hejamady and Naveen Bangera, the Bank development officers Sunil Gujaran, Vijay Palan, Jitesh Kotian and others were also present.
The Vedic celebrant Shekar Shanti Ulloor performed different religious rites that are associated with opening the new branch. Dhananjay Shanti Ulloor offered the prasadam along with Gangadhar Kallady.
The new branch senior officer Namita Chowrashi and Vikas Mistry couple led the religious celebrations. The new branch manager Dinesh K Kukyan welcomed the gathering. The assistant branch manager Dinesh G Poojary proposed vote of thanks.
