Bharat Co-op Bank opens 60th branch at Nerul, Navi Mumbai

Mumbai, Dec 02, 2014: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited opened its sixtieth branch at Krishna Mahal Building, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, here on Monday December 1.
The Bank chairman Jaya Suvarna inaugurated the new branch by cutting the ribbon here on Monday morning. Nerul – Shanishwar temple managing trustee and social activist Ramesh M Poojary inaugurated the branch by lighting the lamp.
The Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated ATM kiosk. The Bank director Pushpalata N Salian inaugurated safe lockers. The Bank CEO and managing director C R Mulky inaugurated the banking services.
The local corporator Suresh G Shetty, Santosh Devappa Shetty Adyapady, Anita Santosh Shetty, entrepreneur K D Shetty, Krishna Mahal landlord S B Khan and others were the chief guests of the occasion.
Jaya Suvarna felicitated Bipin J Kotian, director of Makers Mark Interior Designer Studio, who have done interiors of the branch.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Poojary said that it’s the far range plans of veteran of co-operative movement Jaya C Suvarna, Bharat Bank made rapid strides in banking sector to be reckoned as leading co-operative bank in the nation.
The Bank directors M B Kukyan, Jyoti K Suvarna, advocate S B Amin, U S Poojary, Bhaskar M Salian, Harischandra G Mulky, R D Poojary, Ashok M Kotian, C R Salian, Gangadhar J Poojary and Suryakant J Suvarna, former president Raja V Salian, chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin and Shobha Dayanand, deputy general managers Vivek S Shanbagh, Mohandas Hejmady, Ramesh Hiriadka, Vishwanat G Suvarna, Prabhakar G Suvarna, chief general manager Gopal Kotian, Manjula Suvarna, Ravi S Kotian, Bharat Bank Officers Association president Kiran B Amin and others were present.
The branch manager Asha P Kotian welcomed the gathering. The assistant branch manager Vinay Sanil proposed vote of thanks. The Bank general manager Nityanand D Kotian compered the programme.
