Bunts Dubai lifts Konkan Bells Throwball Trophy in the electrifying thrilling matches

Ajman (UAE), 15 Nov 2014: In an electrifying final match between Buts Dubai Vs Mogaveers ladies match, Bunts Dubai snatched the trophy from Mogaveers while Konkans Dubai again had to settle with Runners upi and Bunts Dubai (Men) which walked away with the winner’s Trophy in a thriller three match game.

 

In the other games i.e. Volley Ball, Saifa Chilly Villey won the trophy against their usual opponent Ace Spikers.  The konkani Bell’s sport events special attraction of the day was Kabaddi match which was won by Sangama against Bunts UAE.

 

The whole day grand sports  eventbegan with the prayer dance performed by Monisha Rasquinha,  guest were escorted to the dais.  Konkan bells president Remigius Dsouza welcomed the gathering and thanked each and every one for coming in large numbers for the day long sports event . Miss. Joshal Dsouza who recently crowned as Winner of GVOM season 4 held at Muscat, Oman was honored as she belongs to Ujjireparish of Belthangadydenary.

 

Walter Nandalike editor chief of Daijiworld addressed gathering on behalf of KB organization and requested every once cooperation for the day thereby the lighting the lamp ceremony took place.

 

The committee member of Konkan Bells Dubai Ms. Jecintha Rasquinha led the oath taking ceremony and UAE and Indian National anthems were sung by KB  Kids Riva,  Riona and  Kelton.

 

In the sports event, 13 volley ball teams 4 Kabaddi and 7 men and 7 women Throwball teams were participated in the event.   Mrs. Rohini MC conducted  the inauguration programeffeciently.  Rev. Fr. William Mirnada, a Carmalite priest from Uduip Diocese was the chief guest of the day. The tournament of the day was well organized by the committee members and successfully completed without any problem.  All the teams participated in the sporty spirit and the all the matches were played in a very sporty manner.

 

It was on interesting event which kept the people very happy and enthusiastic that iscommentary of Vinod Shetty and Godwin who kept the participants informed about the day long results of the matches and winners of the tournaments time to time.

The final Prize distribution ceremony began at 6:45 pm.  A well-known dance troupe of Dubai “ Feet Beat” of Mr. Arun lobo presented a wonderfuldance which was appreciated by the audience and applauded their performance. The main sponsor of the sport event was Mr. Walter Pereira.  He is also back bone of KonkanBellswho also as patron consecutively sponsoring to sports meet and other events organized by Kb association from its inception.  He is also the key person for generating charity funds which is the main vision of KB association who help many in back in their parish to help the under privileged for their medical, educational and their charitable causes.  On the occasion Mr.Vasu  Shetty, Mr.Shivashettythe prominent figures of Dubai were present on the dais andhonored all the winners.

 

On the occasion of children’s day, a few games were also conducted for the kids assembled and prizes were given to all. Ice cream and candies were distributed to the crowd during the day, delicious lunch was served to all the players, guests and spectators as well. Red Bull and water was sufficiently provided. Overall arrangements and organization of the event was excellent.

 

The final session of the event was Raffle coupon draw was drawn and winners were distributed with prizes.  Then the best moment of the day came and that was distribution of the grand winning trophies to the teams.  All the winners, runners up and best performed individuals were given away with trophies.
