Judging by broad smiles of DC couple, they are relieved and happy at the turn of events.
Also there is no reason for despair: the successors may turn out to be as much, if not more, upright and effective administrators. Always hope for the bets and prepare for the worst.

Firstly, congrats, Pamboorians, third place is better than none! (In the last two years, been to roce and kazara matavs in many of these parishes and more, and my best experience was in far flung and remote villages in Beltangady and Bantwal taluks..

Readers, including me, have great expectations from Advocate and social activist Shri Benedict Noronha, who last week turned 65. An entry in electoral politics was expected. Then, I am disappointed because he has knocked himself out by opining (quote) " only solution is to boycott the above 65s and support the youngsters so that one can expect some clean governance." With Life Expectancy of Indian males crossing 65, it is my view that political life begins at 65. Long live gerontocracy!!

First of all I congratulate all the winners. We can say that belle parishioners made big blunder making three groups. Even I don’t see any men in belle group?????????? It is a parish competition please represent as one group.

Have no idea why Belle women went in 3 groups! When i opened the news item i was expecting Belle to be on top of the news item. Belle has some very good vovio singers. I am sure they would have got the first place if they went as one team.

Who made this frequent revision in petrol price hike, which was once a year along with the Budget? Why was it done? What is the growth of economy ogf the world dduring this period? why the petrolium products available in Indian coasts is not being utilised? Who can answer these questions? The Political babus please enlighten us.

I think Belle Womens were the Best if they went with one or two teams. All good singers are in one one group.Instead of that they should have been made a single group..I guess \ WOMEN POLITICS\

It is welcome change in the scenario of the Bellevision Muscat to see familiar faces through various angles of photographs. Though Easter has gone and Holy spirit has started to flow down, this programme has reminded of the resurection of the Lord. It looks grand to see varierty with young and old mixing and dancing. Bellevision has grown to cheer up the World on multidimensianl activites. Congratulations to all. Keep it up.

All is not well with the State ruling party and the Governor of Karnataka. When the S.C.has struck down the verdict of the High court and that of the speaker, the elected members have a choice. They can mend their behaviour and also give up prejudices and continue in their party. If BSY has convinced them and they do not mind supporting him for the time being there is no good reason for the gov. to have his own say.
When purchase of MLAs by unlawful and corrupt manners, the Gov. has not acted. Center was silent over the unconstitutional behaviour of the ruling party because the earlier sin of the Cong. by Narasimha rao was alive in their mind. For all ills of the past they have to swallow now as BJP has got loud mouths to shoutabout. Good Principles of governance has gone to the dustbin long ago and all the political parties.Better not to name any. The only solution is to boycot the above 65 s and support the youngsters so that one can expect some clean governance. Can Indians think of that? God only can guide them.

Pardon, can t place Nellikatte; so, curious about its catchment area. I also find the exclusion of principals, headmasters, headmistresses and teachers from schools and colleges from the dignitary invitees/guests in poor taste. When it functions, hope it co-promotes activities with those who are in the fray before..

Well well !!! sudden transfer of Udupi D.C. Hemalatha is very unfortunate. One of the best Lady officer who has served the district in recent times. I must say that she has not only served the newly formed district with very good administrative results but she being an upright officer with good development programs for the district with a clean record. Hope the new D.C. will continue to do a good job for Udupi District. I wish D.C. Hemalata all the very best for her new posting in Bangalore.

This transfer reflect the calibre of our politicians. Our politicians do not like stict duty bound officers. Less said better about our politicians, MLA, MP and their governing values!! They will not allow any type of clean adminstration!!

It was expected. There is a limit for every thing and manipulating and favouring will never succeed. Justice will succeed ultimately.
In this country , of late judicary is controling and defacto ruling. The standard of the Administraive support has become week and the Political Babus try to rule over them and all this kind of thngs happen. It is bad for the country where progress is a must and Waste of money is to be checked. Right advise , honoured by the Ministers will help better administration and saving of time money and even judicial time. Let better wisdom prevail .

Belle Panchayath is developing, with a bang! Be aware of the law and the rules. Be honest and sincere to the object of the work under taken and try to be good example. Do not give room for critics and thus win the confidence of the Public of this Panchayth so that vote getting will not be a problem ,what ever be the Party. I have demanded that half done roads and other projects must be completled to save from peoples ire. Ankudru vented dam must be useable for small vehicles.Kabyadi bridge work must go on. Then this 41 lakhs project will not be a bad one.
The Panchayth members have good name. You must keep it up and help your party to gain from your work at the Panchayath level. See West Bengal-Mamatha has done onders with the people. She could be a role model in uplifting the people by rural development of rural areas like Bell. It is a beautiiful Village including Padubelle region. Dont neglect the area to the south west of the Belle river. Good luck.

I refrain from commenting on our CM s priorities, acts of commission omission. But, I on t like this Nagesh. Get a life, Nagesh!
