Kuwait, 25 Nov 2012: After hosting ‘Bappi Lahiri Live Concert” Indian Cultural Society brings you live excitement & entertainment with renowned young Ghazal Maestro Jaswinder Singh for romantic geet & ghazal. An evening accompanied by laughter machine & Hindi poet sardar Manjit Singh. Special guest of honor & attraction from Bollywood will be famous film actress Raveena Tandon.

Jaswinder Singh is a young Ghazal singer with mesmerizing voice. The talented singer has been awarded ‘The Young Ghazal Maestro’ by Indian Music Academy by former president of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He received worldwide appreciation in Amir Khan’s “Satya Mev Jayte” while sang “Bahut Yaad Aate Ho Tum”. Jaswinder is the son & student of legendary composer Kuldip Singh, composer of ghazals such as ‘Tumko dekha to ye khayal aaya’ from the movie Saath-Saath and ‘Itni Shakti Hame De Na Daata’ from Ankush. He is the most promising and sensational ghazal singer of this generation. Saregama- HMV launched his Music album “Ishq Nahin Asaan” comprising of all the songs sung by the young soulful ghazal Maestro “Jaswinder Singh”. Earlier he has released “Yours Truly” & “Dilkash” by Tips Music. He was chosen to sing for the play ‘Kaifi Aur Main’, a epistolary style play dealing with the life & times of the noted lyricist and poet Kaifi Azmi. The play features the husband and wife duo of Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi. He has also performed in "Ghalibnaama" a conceptual show based on the prose and poetry of Mirza Ghalib. Jaswinder Singh has his own unique style of performing and has mesmerized audiences at his national & international concerts. He also specializes in few Sufi & foot tapping Punjabi songs which he likes to sing towards the end of his shows making the evening melodious and entertaining.

National film awards winner Raveena Tandon is a daughter of renowned film maker Ravi Tandon. Besides her regional films, she is one of the best actresses in bollywood for memorable roles in film like “Patthar Ke Phool”, Mohra, Andaz Apna Apna, Jung, Bulandi, Khauff, Rakshak, Khiladiyon ka Khiladi, Daman, Dulhe Raja, Ladla, BadeMinya Chhote Minya, Divya Shakti, Dilwale, Aunty No.1, Zamana Deewana, Ek hi Rasta, (Bangaru Bullodu, Akasa Veedhilo- Telgu film) Sadhu (Tamil film), Upendra (Kannad film) Ziddi etc. She got high critical acclaim for her performances in films like Aks (2001) and Satta (2003), and had the peak of her career in 2002, when she won the NFA for Best Actress for her performance in Kalpana Lajmi’s Daman. Raveena adopted two girls, Pooja and Chhaya, as a single mother in 1995. She has long list of social contribution for the community benefits & welfare. She married with Anil Thadani. She has two child Rasha & Ranbir. She is involved in many social activities along with few new films.
