Bantwal: N Vivek Shetty reelected as president of Bantwal Bantara Sangha

Bantwal, 23 Sep 2017: Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty, Mumbai industrialist and philanthropist re-elected as president of Bantwal Buntara Sanghaduring the annual general body meeting held on Thursday, September 21.
Over 500 members including the renowned litterateur Yerya Laxminarayana Alva, social activist Thumbay Jayaram Samani, Bantwal Buntara Sangha trustee Bolantoorguttu Shantaram Shetty unanimously re-elected Vivek Shetty as their president for 2017 - 2020.
Vivek Shetty was instrumental in building magnificent Buntara Bhavan, at Bantwal, during his 3-year term as president and inaugurating the same by Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah.
Vivek is the son of Vittal and Chandravati Shetty couple. He has done his studies at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru and engineering from KREC – Suratkal. After working for a few years in industries, he has opened his own business – Techno Therma Furnaces Private Limited in Mumbai that has grown in leaps and bounds over the years.
He is the founder of Mulund Bunts and trustee of Bantara Sangha Mumbai®. He has contributed nearly Rs 1.5 crore to support the education of talented students of Bunts community. Philanthropy is the virtue he had inherited from his parents. He is married to Sandhya and they have 2 daughters Varsha and Varna.
