Abu Dhabi: Enthusiastic Volley Ball tourney was held in Capital on International Women’s Day

Abu Dhabi, 10 Mar 2014: On the occasion of International Women’s Day Celebration, “The Enthusiastic” a social-charitableassociation organized a ladies volleyball tournament at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabion the 8th of March 2014.

The tournament attracted 14 enthusiastic volleyball teams from Abu Dhabi for the three (3) categories namely Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced.    The eagerly awaited tournament was played with friendly atmosphere and it was all around fun. 
All the participating teams gathered for the Ewa’ashelters  at about 2pm and a lot of league matches held in each categories, all the matches were electrifying and plenty of emotions all day long and excitements.

 HE Sara Shuhail, CEO of the Ewa’a shelters joined the event during the matches and prior to distribution of prizes to the winning teams in her address to the players, she spoke about the close relationship between The Enthusiastic and Ewa’a since 2011.She also mentioned HH Sheikha Fatima BintMubarak on that special Woman’s dayas a model for the Emirati women and all the ladies living in the UAE.

Then she rewarded the following winning teamswith anEwa’a award and a special medal for each player.

A. Beginners Catagory:
Winner: ILA VOLLEYWOOD
1stRunners Up:  Funny Team
2nd Runners Up:  AlianceFrancaise

B.  IntermediateCatagory :
Winner: ENTHUSIASTIC 2
1stRunners Up: Psuad (Sorbonne University)
2nd Runners Up:  Etoo

C. AdvancedCatagory :
Winner: INSPIRE
1stRunners Up:  Ace Spikers
2nd Runners Up:  Enthusiastic

Finally HE Sara Shuhail gaveaway gifts to all the players participated in the tournament.

 

 

 The raffle draw closed the event with many gifts distributed to the winners in the form of coupens for Brunches, dinners, dhow cruises, massage, subscription to Madame magazine,facial treatment, chiropractic sessions.

The Organizers thanked to all for their kind participation  and making the tournament most memorable.
