Udupi: Silver Palanquin offered unto Sri Damodar Temple deity at Ammunje

Udupi, 11 Feb 2014: The reinstallation ceremony of Sri Damodar temple deity, Ammunje, near here was held with grandeur on Sunday February 9.
 
 
Swami Sayyamindra of Kashi mutt graced the occasion on Sunday at 5.00pm.  A silver palanquin and façade to the temple deity was offered in his presence.

 

 
 
 
Vedic rituals and free offerings to devotees were also held on the occasion.
 
 
Karkal – Venkataramana temple Bhajan group presented devotional singing programme.  The family of Nayak was present during Bhajans.
 
 
The temple managing trustee Ammunje Yashwant Nayak, Dr Arvind Nayak Ammunje, Amit Nayak Ammunje and others were present on the occasion.
