Ganeshothsava celebrated in Palli Ninjoor

Palli Ninjoor, Karkala Taluk, 13 September 2010: Twentieth Ganeshothsava was celebrated at Palli Ninjoor, organized by Sarvajanica Sri Ganeshothsava Committee, Palli Ninjoor on Saturday 11 September 2010, at the Ganesh Vedhike in Palli Grama Panchayath premises.

 

The celebration began in the morning at 08.00 am with prayers, punyaha, kalashapooje, gana homa and prathista pooje. At 09.00 am the first Maha Pooja was conducted, followed by Moodu Ganapathi seve at 11.00 am and noon Maha Pooja at 01.00 pm.

 

In the after noon from 02.00 pm there were cultural programs by the students of Jilla Panchayath Higher Primery School, Pallidadabettu and also by the students of Ninjoor Sri Rama Private Higher Primery School.

 

 

Orchestra and Natyamanjari programs were conducted in the evening at 07.00 pm by Udupi Sri Kishore and team. There were songs, dances, comedy skits and fun games. Winners of the games were given fabulous prizes. Mooduganapathi seve was performed at 08.00 pm.

 

Tulu drama “Aayi Bokka Aal Akka” was played at 09.00 pm by Pallav team’s Mokeda Kalavider Karla. The night Maha Pooje was conducted at 09.30 pm. People from Palli Ninjoor and surrounding villages attended this festive event in huge numbers.
