Hassan: KRV staged Torch-Lit Protest condemning attack on Kannadigas at Belgaum

Hassan, 26 Nov 2013: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) on Tuesday November 26 staged torch-lit protest rally condemning the assault on Kannadigas in Belgaum.

KRV activists holding torches began the protest rally from Hemavati statue till N R Roundabout.

The protesters burnt the effigy of MES leader and Belgaum MLA Shyabojirao Patil.

 

 

Addressing the protesters, KRV district president C D Manukumar said that expressed their anger over inciting clashes by MLA Patil.  He urged the state government to ban MES because of atrocities on minority Kannadigas.

KRV district convener Vasant Kumar, vice president Balagatte Lokesh, Sameer Ahmed, Mujayid and others were present on the occasion.
