Mumbai, Nov 25, 2013 : The metro-based Frank Productions, Konkani theater group presented, ‘Mataro Chorbela,’ social comedy at St. Vincent Pallotti Church Grounds, Vijaynagar, Andheri East, Mumbai in the evening of Sunday, 24 November 2013 in aid of the new St. Ignatius Loyola Church building Paladka, Moodbidri
St, Vincent Pallotti parish priest Fr Charles Fernandes was the chief guest of the simple function held before presenting the Konkani play.
The entrepreneur Rony Goveas, St. Vincent Pallotti parish council vice president-Antony Francis, Paladka parish council vice president-Andrew D’Souza and Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy award recipient comedy king-Francis Fernandes Cascia were the guests of honor.
The sixty-second show of ‘Mararo Chorbela’ by playwright and veteran artiste Francis Fernandes Cascia, directed by Joy Paladka was staged to the packed audiences on the occasion.
The theater artistes of over three-and-a-half decade: Francis Fernandes Cascia, Joy Paladka, Edwin Banz Sastan, Betty Naaz, Julie Vaz, Peter Pais Basroor, Gregory Sequeira Niddody, Flora D’Souza Kalmady, Shanthi Barboza Boliye along with upcoming artiste Roycee Sequeira Paladka enthralled the audiences.
The acting of upcoming artiste Roycee Sequeira Paladka was much appreciated by the audiences by standing ovation.
Sofia D’Sa and Helen Noronha honored the guests with flower bouquets. Andrew D’Souza honored the sponsors. Joy Paladka compered the programme.

| Once again 'Mararo Chorbela' troop done great achievement in front of the Mumbai Konkani lovers with the great success of their 62nd show!! Well done and congrats to my good friend play righter and a great legend Konkani artist Mr. Francis Fernandes Cascia and to one of my good friend Joy Paladka, who directed the 'Mararo Chorbela' Drama very successfully. Great work friend!! I want to wish to entire 'Mararo Chorbela' group.. Edwin Banz, Betty Naaz, Julie Vaz, Peter Pais, my best friend Gregory Sequeira, Flora DSouza, and one of my childhood stage partner Shanthi Barboza Boliye along with Roycee Sequeira¦ you all done a great job for Konkani theater.. Congrats to you all dear friends!!! I am proud to say that, during my Konkani activities in Mumbai, I work along with you all (minus - Roycee) with the different Drama's or/and different Konkani activity's. Especially I appreciate my childhood stage partner and a good friend Shanthi, that she is doing a good work onstage in one of milestone Konkani drama. Wish you all success.
