Mumbai: Sri Krishna Vittala Pratishan, Goregaon (E) to celebrate Sixteenth Anniversary on Nov 24

Mumbai, 20 Nov 2013: The metro-based Sri Krishna Vittala Pratistan ® a religious and social welfare organization will celebrate their sixteenth anniversary celebrations by performing various Vedic rituals including Laxminarayana puja and Mahaganapatiyaga at Divya Sagar Lawn of Mahanand Dairy, eastern express highway, Goregaon (East) here on Sunday November 24at 7.00am.

 


 
Sri Krishna Vittala Pratistan ® founder vedic celebrant Vidwan Kairabettu Vishwanat Bhat will lead a group of vedic celebrants to perform the religious rites on the occasion.  


 
Goregaon (East) MLA Ravindra Vaikar will inaugurated cultural extravaganza at 12-00pm on Sunday.


 
The variety devotional singing programme will be presented by Kalasouraba troupe of Mumbai directed by Padmanabha Sasihitlu, Manushree Shetty group of Swaralaya – music school of Thane, dance recital by Vaishnavi Shetty, Shradda and Megha, folk dance by Ankita Ramesh Rai and cultural extravaganza of Sri Krishna Leela.

 


 
Swami Veshvesha of Pejavar mutt, Udupi will deliver religious discourse on Sunday at 2.30pm.


 
Maharashtra state health minister Suresh H Shetty will be the chief guest of the occasion.


 
Borivali MLA Gopal C Shetty, Mahanand Dairy chairperson Vaishali Nagavade, Ville Parle MLA Krishna S Hegde, K R Pete MLA Narayan R Gowda, Vedamurti Pernankila Haridas Bhat, social workers chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, Ajit G Suvarna, Payyaru Ramesh Shetty, Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel, Mundappa S Payyade, Mahesh Jain, B Ramanand Rao, K D Shetty, Bannanje Yashwant Shetty, Jayaram Shetty, Bharat Takoor, Jayaraj Rao, Tukaram Rai and others will be the guests of honor.


 
The distinguished personalities will be felicitated for their extraordinary contributions in their respective sphere: Mala Srinivas Bhat (vedic studies), Ambatanaya Mudrady (literature, Harikata), Polya Laxminarayan Shetty (Yakshagana), Tara S Rao (music and dance), Dr Padubidri Narayan Anchan (medicine), Srinivas Kanchan (social service).  The annual award will be conferred on Nilisha K Shetty during the programme.


 
Bangalore-based School of Performing Arts will present dance recital based on mythological episode ‘Mahamaya’ at 5.00pm. 

 
 
The world renowned magician Professor Shankar Udupi and Junior Shankar will stage ‘Gili Gili’ magic show.


 
The organizers Vidwan Kairabettu Vishwanat Bhat and Suma V Bhat couple urged the devotees from across the metro to attend both religious and cultural programmes in large numbers.
