Mangalore: www.yorfuture.org, Social Welfare Organization for Less Fortunate Launched

Mangalore, Nov 19, 2013 : The launching of www.yorfuture.org, a city-based social welfare organization for the less fortunate and fundraising programme was held at Infant Jesus Shrine hall, Bikarnakatte, here on Monday November 18 at 4.30pm.

 

The city-based Yenepoya Dental College assistant Professor Dr Imran Mohtesham after launching www.yorfuture.org said that is easier to talk about social service, but all those involved in that sphere know the hardships involved in it.  He lauded the social commitment of www.yorfuture.org president Mavis Rodrigues, in striving to uplift the situation of less fortunate in the society.  

 

Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) national co-ordinator and Maharashtra Christian Association president Raymond D’Souza assured his support for the organization.  He further said that the people who accept the mission to uplift the less fortunate in the society ought to be supported, said D’Souza.

 

D’Souza launched the fundraising pogrammr and in about 15 minutes the audience spontaneously contributed a total sum of Rs 7,906. Yor Future.Organization seeks generous support from donors in this regard.

 

 

As a part of the programme, Children’s Day and November Birthday were also celebrated.    The birthday cake was cut by all the privileged children along with Yenepoya Dental College Professor Dr Savita, St Aloysius College vice principal Dr Judy Pinto. They both marked the Children Day by raising bunches of balloons in the air along with the children.

Dr Judy Pinto gave a message of truthfulness and sincerity to the children to be the best citizens of our country.

 

Dr Savitha Dandekeri exclaimed how tough in the present scenario to complete our personal work , but Mrs Mavis Rodrigues makes time to meet the less fortunate families , understands their needs and extends her support through the organization ‘Yor Future’ meant for the less fortunate.

 

The program started with a prayer dance followed by a prayer lead by Infant Jesus Shrine superior Fr Deepak Tauro.

 

The programme was concluded with a thanksgiving Hymn.
