Kundapur: UK’s Renowned Pediatrician Dr Vardhan Kumar Shetty addresses Health Issues in city

Kundapur, 18 Nov 2013: The professions such as doctors, teachers and police are time bound and need maximum patience. Blaming the doctors for deterioration of health in a patient is unjustified. The doctor is not a god. There has been rise in incidences of creating fear in the minds of people; by making even a little ailment that are major diseases for publicity sake, said UK’s renowned pediatrician Dr Vardan Kumar Shetty.
Dr Shetty was speaking after inaugurating a interactive meet on Our health is in our hands that was held at Laxmi Nivas, located opposite Majestic Hall, here on Friday November 15. It was jointly organized by Rotary Club – Koteshwar and Ann’s Club.
Rotary Club – Koteshwar president Prabhakar Kumbashi presided the function.
The Rotary Club designated assistant governor Ganesh Shetty Molahalli released Rotary bulletin ‘Sangama’ on the same occasion.
Bhagyalaxmi Ganesh Shetty, Rotary Club secretary Ravindra Shetty, Ann’s Club president Deepika Shetty, secretary Suchitra Naik were present on the occasion.
Mallika Chandrashekar rendered the prayers. Sangama – bulletin editor Ravindra Navuda welcomed the gathering. Rajgopal Puranik proposed vote of thanks. Nagesh Shettigar compered the programme.
