M’lore: Harsha Moily to lead Congress Preparedness in facing forthcoming Parliamentary Elections

Mangalore, 13 Nov 2013: The Dakshina Kannada (DK) District Congress Committee (DCC) has embarked on strategy to face the forthcoming parliamentary elections, while it will agressively stem the propaganda of opposition parties at the early stages.

The motion has been set for a strategy to contact the voters by DCC on the instruction of AICC high command, being led by the entrepreneur Harsha Moily, son of union minister Veerappa Moily.

The strategy aims at registering new voters in the voters’ list, to educate the voters on Congress government’s programmes cthrough mass media and to effectively face the propaganda of opposition parties.

 

DCC president and state minister Ramanath Rai offered motion for block level workshop in Beltangady, Sullia, Bantwal and Puttur legislative assembly constituencies.

The workshop was held for the representatives of Mangalore and four legislative constituencies of Moodbidri in Mangalroe city.  The senior trainer and media expert Mohanchandra led the workshop on the occasion.

The programme has the objective of training youngsters in order to interact with the voters in facebook, twitter, blogs and social media, besides to discuss the strategy with the booth level party activists in order to focus on such parliamentary constituties that has been facing setbacks for Congress in the past many general elections, said Harsha. 

The state health minister U T Khader, Congress leaders Ivan D’Souza, Prakash Thumbay, Abbas Ali, Bharat Mundody, Durgaprasad, Dinesh Rao, B H Khader, Tejomaya, Subhodaya Alva and others held discussions in this regard.
