Kuwait: Abbassiya Families hold Annual Get-together at Kabed

Kuwait, 27 Oct 2013: The Mangalore families living in Abbassiya, here organized an annual get-together at a farmhouse in Kabed here on Friday October 25. Around 130 people including children attended the annual get-together.

 

The day started with the prayer by Maxim and Nicole. Rony Fernandes expressed his warm welcome to all the gathered families and requested each one to enjoy the day with the true family spirit. After that breakfast was served to all.

 

A number of games for children and adults were organized throughout the day and prizes were distributed to all the winners.

Soon after the lunch housie game started to all the families and prizes were distributed to all the winners.  The day-long fun-filled event comprised games, entertainment and prize galore, thoroughly enjoyed by adults and children.

 

The crowed danced to the tune of ‘DJ Live Rockers’ sponsored by Vinay Martis and live songs by Mervin Quadros, Jasmine D’Cunha and Maxim D’Souza enthralled the gathering.

 

The whole day’s event was compered by Hubert, Deepak, Mark and Arvin. Maxim D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
