Udupi: Shirva GP Vice President Deepika lauds Contributions of Bharat Nirman Volunteers in Rural Dev

Udupi, 24 Oct 2013 : The voluntary services of Shirva unit of Bharat Nirman and Navabharat Nirman Vedike is noteworthy in reaching out the government programmes to the rural folks and creating awareness on cleanliness and hygiene, healthcare services and sanitation, lauded Shirva gram panchayat vice president Deepika Charlotte D’Souza.
Deepika was speaking after presiding the function of releasing BNV identity cards, second album of service activities and telephone directory of various departments in the district, at Hotel Mandara hall, here on Wednesday October 23. It was organized by the volunteers of Bharat Nirman and Navabharat Nirman Vedike.
The district trainer Annappa Shervegar in his chief guest’s address said that district convention will be held on December 8 and offered information on the arrangements and pooling the resources.
Jayawant Rao was the resource person offered valuable advices on the occasion.
Udupi taluk co-ordinator Kumari Navya, Karkal taluk co-ordinator Asha, Kundapur taluk co-ordinator Sangeeta was present on the dais.
Speaking on the occasion, Shirva gram panchayat development officer Sundar Prabhu lauded the service activities of Shirva unit volunteers and extended all his support in this regard.
Shirva unit and gram panchayat member K Ramaraya Patkar congratulated the cultural group that bagged top prize in the convention held at Karkal rrecently.
