M’lore: World Anesthesia Day Celebrated at Father Muller Medical College Hospital

Mangalore, 23 Oct 2013: Father Muller Medical College Hospital, department of anesthesiology organized a programme to commemorate World Anesthesia Day here recently.  It was themed as ‘Divinum est sedare dolorem’ (It is divine to abolish pain).

 
KMC – Manipal department of anesthesiology Professor Dr Ramkumar Venkateswaran was the chief guest of the occasion.

 
Dr G G Laxman Prabhu was the guest of honor.

 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ramkumar urged the students to take home the message being Safety first.

 

 
 
 
The programme was followed by the inter-collegiate postgraduate quiz.  The students from 7 colleges in and around Mangalore city participated in the quiz.

 
 
The quiz master Srinivas Medical College  anesthesiology Professor Dr Satyajit Karanth Airody, came up with mind boggling questions that had participants and as well as the audience racking their brains.

 
KMC Manipal was the winning team with K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) as the runner up.
