Mangalore: Alumni Meet of Father Muller College of Nursing

Mangalore, 13 Oct 2013: Alumni Association of Father Muller organizing Alumni meet at conference hall, here on Saturday October 12.
The city-based Sanjeevini College of Nursing principal Molly Saldhana was the chief guest of the occasion. Father Muller Charitable Institution director Fr Patrick Rodrigues presided the programme.
Alumni Association president Darryl Aranha and secretary Irene Alvares were also present on the dais.
The key highlight of the programme was the releasing of the ‘Nursing Procedure Manual’ authored by chief nursing officer Sr Aileen Mathias. This manual will serve as a guide to the nursing students.
Speaking on the occasion, Molly Saldhana said, ‘This meet will work as an opportunity for alumni to come back to their Alma mater. The members involve themselves in various social activities, work hand in hand contributing towards welfare of each other,’ said Molly.
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, in his presidential address said, ‘All the alumnae are the brand ambassadors of the institution. It is the service, commitment and values will take you a long way in your life. This alumni meet is a platform where all the alumnae from different walks of life come together, share their experience and enrich the lives,’ said Fr Rodrigues.
Roshni Nilaya, postgraduation department dean Dr Rameela Shekar conducted a ‘Scientific Session’ on healthy personality development on the occasion.
Dr Rameela gave some dos and don’ts for a healthy personality development. She said, ‘Self is an organized configuration of perception, belief, feeling, attitude and values which the individual view as part or characteristics of him/ her. A healthy person is the one who accepts the reality and learns from his failures as well as his success,’ said Dr Rameela.
