Mangalore: Municipal Body to Modify Facilities at Newly-Built Commercial Complex at Jeppu Market

Mangalore, 12 Oct 2013 : MLA J R Lobo visited municipal ward number 58 of Bolar, here on Saturday October 12, in order to address the grievances of residents living in the locality of Gujjarakere and Alemal compound that has been affected effluents from overflowing drains.
MLA Lobo also visited newly-build municipal commercial building in Jeppu market which was unscientifically built with chicken stall located on first floor, and it has just a few toilets, because there were 6 toilets when the market was unorganized selling wares on open ground. It also lacks water supply.
MLA Lobo instructed the municipal officials to modify the facilities at the newly-built municipal commercial building in Jeppu market and informed them he would come back to inspect the same after 3 months.
Bolar ward number 58 president Benet D’Mello, Mangalore south Congress general secretary Shafi Ahmed, DCC general secretary T K Sudhir, secretary Narayan Kotian, corporators Ratikala, Kavita and Suresh Shetty, Congress local leaders Mohan Mendon, Sitaram, Aslam, Ramanand Bolar, municipal health officer Ganapati, municipal engineers and water department officials were present on the occasion.
