Udupi: Jaycees Week Concludes in Kaup

Udupi, 13 Sep 2013: Jaycees Club International (JCI) has the greater responsibility of attracting the youth to JCI philosophy in making them talented individuals. The youth who are inspired by JCI to come to the mainstream of society will get a distinct status in the entire country, said JCI zone 15 president Sridar P S.
Sridar was speaking during the valedictory ceremony of Kaup – Jaycees Week at Narayan Guru auditorium, Kaup, near here on Wednesday September 11.
The state urban and Udupi district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake in his chief guest’s address said that JCI is one of the largest social welfare organizations in the world, which lays special significance for personality development. The members who work in different spheres get due honor, said minister Sorake.
JDS Udupi district president Deviprasad Shetty, Shirva – MSRS College administrator Professor Y Bhaskar Shetty, JCI zonal vice president Ratnakar Indrali, Kaup gram panchayat vice president Usha Shenoy, entrepreneur Guttinar Ramesh Shetty Bairuguttu, Deepak Kumar Yermal were the chief guests of the occasion.
The progressive graduate farmer Raghavendra Nayak, talented students Manasa Acharya and Yatish, Kaup – JCI past president Shivanna Bayar were felicitated during the programme.
Jaceeret president Soumya Rakesh, Jaycees Week director Yogish Rai were also present.
Kaup – JCI president Rakesh Kunjoor presided the function and welcomed the gathering. The designated president Anil Kumar presented the report. The secretary Ramesh Naik proposed vote of thanks.
The inter-district filmi dance competitions were held after the valedictory function. The prizes were distributed to the winners on the occasion.
