California : INFOCUS - A Catholic social organization in US Celebrates Monti Fest with devotion.

California/US 10 Sep, 2013 : A well known social organization called INFOCUS of Indian Families of Catholic Origin in US, celebrated Monti Fest on 8th September 2013 at St. Thomas of Canterbury church with great devotion and enthusiasm.

 

 

The Mass was offered by Fr. George Aranha with special prayers for grandparents and for the students who are starting their school after summer break.  During mass he spoke of the family unity and family values to be followed with the blessing of Mother Mary.  He also wished all the students attending the school and colleges after the summer break and bestowed upon them the blessings of Mother Mary.

 

The mass was followed by delicious potluck lunch organized by INFOCUS members.There were about 25 families with kids and friends, who participated in the celebration.

 

Also on the occasion six members of the group, including Fr. George Aranha celebrated their birthday during the Monti Fest celebration by cutting the cake and shared with all the members.  After lunch there were fun filled games for kids who enjoyed and had a fun filled and the great feast day was ended with loads of fund and enthusiasm.
