Mangalore: Feast of Nativity of Mary/Monti Fest Celebrated with Utmost Fervor in 145 Parishes across

Mangalore, 08 sep, 2013 : The feast of Nativity of Mary or Monti Fest was celebrated with utmost devotion by the parishioners in 145 parishes across Mangalore diocese.

The little children have showered flowers in honor of Infant Mary and also partaken in festal Eucharistic Celebrations along with a large number of parishioners on the occasion.

Every parish priest highlighted the virtues of Infant Mary and also to thank mother nature for better rains and abundance of farm produce during this season.

The new paddy-sheaves sourced from farms were blessed and distributed to the faithful.

The sugarcane was distributed to the parishioners to savor at home.
