Udupi, 8 Sep 2013: The district unit of Welfare Party of India (WFI) staged a sit-in in front of Clock Tower, here on Saturday September 7, against union government over the hike in prices of essential commodities which has adversely affected the common man to sustain living.
The protesters alleged that union government is responsible for steady fall in rupee against US $ which was due to faulty economic policies and lack of long range monetary plans.
