Mumbai: Thousands of Well Wishers Pay Homage to Recently Demised Noted Prof Sitaram Shetty

Mumbai, 7 Sep 2013: Thousands of well wishers paid public homage to renowned poet, critic, litterateur of the late Professor Sitaram Shetty, during the condolence meet held at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium, Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East) here on Saturday September 7.


The late Professor Sitaram Shetty’s daughter Abhijna S Shetty, Dr G D Joshi, Chandrahas Shetty, Prasad Shetty, Arati Shetty, Bunts Sangh – Mumbai president chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty, former president Harish Shetty, Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti president Harish Kumar M Shetty, Thane Bunts president chartered accountant Jagdish H Shetty, former president D G Bolar, Bombay Bunts Association president advocate Ratnakar V Shetty, Kannadiga Kalavidara Parishat – Maharashtra president Surendra Kumar hedge, Akshaya, monthly bulletin honorary editor M B Kukyan, BJP youth leader Inna Udayakumar Hegde, Sri Rajaka Sangh – Mumbai president and Chinnara Bimba theater artiste Satish Salian, Jagajyoti Kala Vrunda president Vasant Suvarna, journalist Naveen K Inna, Santosh D Shetty Adyapady Navi Mumbai, Santosh Hegde, Ratnakar Shetty Mundkoor, Shakuntala K Kotian, B Balachandra Rao and others paid homage to the departed soul of Professor Sitaram.

 


The late Professor Sitaram Shetty’s son Ashit S Shetty, Yaksha Manasa chairman and Sitaram’s brother Shekar R Shetty, Raghu P Shetty, Vivek Shetty, Ultoor Mohandas Shetty, Dr K Ratnakar Shetty Bhandup, M D Shetty, Sudhakar S Hegde, advocate Subash B Shetty, Sanat Kumar Jain, Ramachandra Ganiga, Anand P Shetty, Kodu Bhoja Shetty, Narayan Shetty Nandalike, Inna Balike Naveen Shetty, Suresh Shetty Yeyyady, Karnoor Mohan Rai, Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangh Maharashtra chairman Chandrashekar Palettady, Billawar Jagruti Balaga Mumbai joint secretary Chitrapu K M Kotian, Shyam N Shetty, chartered accountant Karunakar M Shetty, Tonse Sanjeev Poojary, hundreds of Sitaram’s former students were present on the occasion.


Kalajagattu Mumbai chief trustee Tonse Vijayakumar compered the programme.  Kala Sourabla promoter Padmanabha Sasihitlu read out a poetry as public homage to the departed soul of Sitaram.
