Udupi, 27 Aug 2013 : The nation is surging ahead with the spiritual bliss that was fostered by ancient sages and great saints who followed Indian cultural hierarchy. The temples, mutts, education institutions are centers of cultural importance. One gets enlightened of God’s presence, when he/she reveres mother and teacher. The discharging of social duties to the best of ability is amounts to worship. The teacher, Ganga River and cow signifies Hindu culture, said Swami Esha Vittaladasa of Sandhipani Sadhana Ashram, Kemaru.
Swami Esha Vittaladasa was delivering his message during thirtieth annual ceremonious worship of Raghavendra which was organized by Sri Guru Raghavendra Samaj Seva Mandali ®, Bantakal – Heroor, near here recently.
Swami Esha Vittaladas urged the mothers to sustain Tulunadu culture among their children and also instill in them the Indian national culture, urged Swami Esha.
Kaup former MLA Lalaji R Mendon was the chief guest of the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Lalaji said that India is the abode pilgrimage centers and hoped the religious celebrations give further fillip to religiousness.
The journalist Pundalika Marate said that daily prayers at improves family life and shuns negativity leading to marital happiness.
Swami Esha Vittaladas felicitated the Mandali founder president Devdas Jogi, Shankar Devadiga, Arvind Kotian, social activist MESCOM lineman Sunil, top women organizer Vasanti A Acharya, Navachetana Mahila Mandali president Vinodha Jagdish Acharya on the same occasion.
The Mandali honorary president and Majoor gram panchayat president Heroor Ganesh Shetty presided the function.
The Mandali president Dinesh Devadiga welcomed the gathering. The prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions. Madhav Acharya and Arvind Kotian compered the programme. The secretary Uday S Devadiga proposed vote of thanks.
