Mangalore: Motorcycle-Borne Duos attempt to Assassinate Mill Owner at Ballalbagh, M G Road

Mangalore, 02 Aug 2013: The unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants attempted to shoot a businessman, in the busy junction of Ballalbagh, M G Road, here at about 6.30pm on Friday August 2.

 

The motorcycle-borne assailants attempted to shoot Vijendra Bhat, proprietor of Sujinder Mill, here, while driving his Scorpio SUV at Ballalbagh, here on Friday evening.  However, their attempt went wrong owing to heavy traffic and crowd.  The assailants fled hitting another motorcyclist in their failed attempt.

 

 

Meanwhile, a popular TV channel reported that a certain Vicky Shetty called their office, soon after the incident, claiming to be an underworld don for owning up the responsibility, as his henchmen were hired to kill Vijendra who seemed to have cheated a person.

 

DySP Dharmaiah and DCIB officers visited the spot.

 

Barke police registered a case in this regard and probe is underway.
