Mangalore, 9 Jul 2013: Dakshina Kannada (DK) district Congress Seva Dal urges Superintendent of Police (SP) Manish Kardikar to verify the marks cards of 150 policemen who were appointed in DK district during 2011 based on the advertisement published in 2010.
Addressing the media persons during the press meet held at Woodlands Hotel, here on Monday July 8 at 3.30pm, Seva Dal activist Ashraf said that the policemen who are newly appointed in DK district are found to have no basic knowledge of English that raises the doubts whether they secured jobs with genuine marks cards based on their merits. Most of the people who visit different police stations across DK district have come across such cases, said Ashraf.
DK district Congress Dal urges district police force to verify the credentials of new appointees in 2011 with the respective education institutions and if found fake they had to be suspended from service, in order to give chance to others who fulfill the criteria and hold genuine credentials.
