Mangalore: Several Passengers Injured in bus – truck Collision at Mukka, NH 66

Mangalore, 01 Jul 2013: Several passengers were injured when a private express bus plying from Udupi to Mangalore hit a truck on NH 66 near Mukka check-post here on Sunday June 30 evening.

The mishap occurred while the bus driver dangerously tried to overtake a vehicle and hit the oncoming truck. 

 

The driver’s feet were trapped in the debris.  Meanwhile, the locals who rushed to the spot managed to clear his feet that are pierced by the metals owing to the impact.  Over 10 passengers were admitted in nearby hospital for varied degree of injuries.

Suratkal police registered a case in this regard.
