M’lore: Huge Tree uproots on Tile House at Mulihitlu; Family Miraculously Survives

Mangalore, 25 June 2013 : A house that is located at Mulihitlu,near Mangaladevi, here was damaged in the havoc caused by torrential rains accompanied by heavy winds when a huge tree uprooted at about 4.00pm on Monday June 24.

 

The tree was uprooted on the tile house of Yamuna living at Mulihitlu, here which caused massive damage.  Yamuna’s five-member family survived except a young boy got some bruises in the incident.

 

 

 

 

 

The local Hoige Bazaar corporator Kavita and village accountant visited the family and assured of compensation from civic body in order to repair the house.
