Mangalore: Medical Students urge for quick action to nab rapist of a medical student of Manipal

Mangalore, 22 Jun 2013: Massive rally was held by several medical college students in front of DC office to protest and demand immediate arrest of the rapist who raped the medical student in Manipal today.

 

Abhilash P V,Senate member of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore addressed the protesters and said that it was very unfortunate and shameful incident that happened in Manipa and the culprits should be caught immediately and punished.

 

 

He urged the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to avoid these kind of incidents in future and security personnel should be deputed at the sensitive areas to avoid future incidents.

 

A memorandum was submitted to the DC office by protesters on this issue and requested for immediate action to nab the culprits.
