M’lore: Two-year-old girl dies after falling from Hospital window

Mangalore, 22 Jun 2013: In an unfortunate incident on Friday evening, a two-year-old girl child died after falling from second-floor window of a private hospital in Mangalore.

 

The deceased baby has been identified as Marwa, daughter of Noorjahan of Kannur, Kerala. Noorjahan was admitted to a private hospital near Bendoorwell for her second delivery. Her twin daughters Marwa and Safa were playing in the room. In the evening at 5pm, Marwa was playing on her mother’s bed and opened the window, she fell off from the window and was severely injured. She was then admitted to another private hospital and she declared dead at 8pm.

 

The sources said that there were no grills to the window, but only sliding doors which caused this accident.
