Hassan: Health Officer urges Citizens to co-operate in Drive against Dengue

Hassan, Jun 5 : The health officer Dr Shyamaladevi urged the citizens to co-operate with the health assistants who will their household at the outbreak of dengue fever.
Addressing the media persons, here on Tuesday June 4, Dr Shyamaladevi urged the citizens to co-operate with health assistants in allowing them to inspect the water tanks and spray the disinfectants wherever essential as a precautionary measure to curb the dengue menace. The health assistants will visit each house across the city for three-day, said Dr Shyamaladevi.
Thirteen cases of dengue are detected in urban areas and 2 cases in rural of Arasikere taluk, one case in urban area and 16 cases in rural areas of Holenarasipura taluk, six cases in urban areas and 2 cases in rural areas of Sakleshpur taluk, one case in urban area and 2 case in rural area of Beloor taluk, 13 cases in urban area and 28 cases in rural areas of Hassan district, 7 cases in rural areas of Channarayapattana, 3 cases in rural areas of Aloor, 17 cases in rural areas of Arakalagoodu are being reported. No loss of life has been reported so far.
The district health inspector Rajgopal, Tahsildar Manjunat and Rajesh Kulkarni were present at the press meet.
