Udupi: Durgaparameshwari Aided Hr Pry School, Bantakal Bids Adieu to Subramanya Nayak

Udupi, 03 Jun 2013 : Durgaparameshwari Aided Higher Primary School, Bantakal, near here bid adieu to Punaru Subramanya Nayak, who retired after putting in 37 years of service, during the function held at the School hall, on Saturday june 1.
The School correspondent K V Prabhu presided the function.
Professor A C Tunga, retired lecturer of Bhandarkar’s College, Kundapur was the chief guest of the occasion.
Professor A C Tunga in his chief guest’s address laid emphasis on the teaching profession, the relation of teachers, students and their parents at the changed times. The alumni are the torchbearers of the institution, said Professor Tunga. He also expressed happiness over the alumnus NRI Podamale Umesh Patkar who has been donating note books to all the students for the past 5 years.
Podamale Umesh Patkar distributed the notebooks to all the students at the same occasion.
Bantakal – Durgaparameshwari temple managing trustee P Vishwanat Nayak, the School governing council chairman Sasidar Wagle, the retired headmaster B Anantaram Bhat, retired teacher Jayanti, social activist Geetha Wagle, Vishwanat Prabhu Heroor were present at the dais.
The teachers Lavanyavati, Karandady School teacher Shankar B, Umesh Prabhu Palume, honorary teachers Sangeeta R Patkar, Shalini and Ashwini, the School betterment Committee members were present at the occasion.
The School headmaster N Radhakrishna Prabhu welcomed the gathering and proposed vote of thanks.
