M’lore: Akhila Bharata Karmika Sangha ®, Karnataka begins Indefinite Stir for Better ESI Faci

Mangalore, 17 May 2013 : Akhila Bharata Karmika Sangha ®, Karnataka state began an indefinite protest in front of office of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner here on Sunday May 12 at 10.00, urging state ESI director to fulfill their various demands.
The protesters urge the concerned authorities to change medical superintendent of ESI Hospital, Kadri – Shivabagh, Mangalore, to provide all facilities at ESI Hospital, to appoint full time doctors at ESI Hopital, to appoint full time doctors at dispensary in ESI Hospital and laboratory, to set up sub-regional office of ESI Hospital, to transfer the doctors and nurses who completed 3 years of service at ESI, Mangalore, to provide bus service to labourers and their families who arrive for treatment at ESI Hospital, to get ESI benefits to the workers employed in Padma Crusher – Padukonaje, Venkatesh Lodge – K S Road, Ujjody Petrol pump, Castec Security, Padival Hotel – Moodbidri, New Padival Hotels – Moodbidri, Ganesh Hotel – Moodbidri, Robo Silicon Crusher – Borugudde, Sai Security – Balmata and media staff and other demands.
