Udupi: Kemman Parish Organizes Multi-Religious Friendly Meet to foster Communal Harmony

Udupi, 12 May 2013: The technology is making the human as robots. The human being is becoming cruel by disregarding humanity and spirituality, Kundapur deanery vicar Fr Stany B Lobo expressed concern over the situation.
Fr Lobo was speaking after inaugurating all religious friendly meet that was organized on the occasion of diamond jubilee celebrations of Kemman church, near here on Saturday May 10.
Fr Lobo hoped the friendly meets will strengthen the bonds of people of different faith, caste and creed in the society and not just become mere celebrations.
‘The need of the hour is to foster cordial relations among the people of different faith, caste and creed in the society,’ said Fr Lobo. God dwells amidst the devout worshippers. The love of fellowmen is the essence of all religions in the world, added Fr Lobo.
The diamond jubilee celebration Committee chairman Fr Anil Prakash D’Silva presided the function.
Sanmarga, Kannada bulletin editor Shoukat Ali and Mangalore – St Joseph Seminary Professor Clifford Fernandes were the key speakers of the occasion.
