M’lore: MLA J R Lobo assures to Strive for Developments in City

Mangalore, 10 May 2013:  ‘This is my first press meet after the election.  With the support of all the congress workers & the media people during my campaign I thank them all. For the last 20 years this constituency represented by BJP MLA and for the last 5 years Karnataka was ruled by BJP, in spite of this there was no further development program carried out.  Instead this government misruled the state and particularly Dakshina Kannada (DK) district had been badly affected with law and order,’ said newly-elected MLA J R Lobo.

 

Addressing the media persons during his first press meet held at Gold Finch Hotel, here on Thursday May 9 at 7.30pm, MLA J R Lobo said, ‘The people of Karnataka wanted a change of governance and we all as a team made a great change,’ added MLA Lobo.
MLA Lobo further said, ‘We thank all our Congress leaders and grass-root-level party activists for their endless efforts. The undivided DK district has vast potentials in healthcare services, energy sector, education and industries.  All over India and from abroad the students come here and develop their career but the BJP government misruled this state and created a bad name for the state.  Now a change has happened which will lead our people to live better governance.’

MLA Lobo assured that with this responsibility he would do his honest efforts in order to develop the Mangalore city and surrounding areas.

The top Congress leaders and party activists, well wishes were present at the occasion.
