Udupi: Students of Asare Special School Campaigns for Voting in KMC Hospital, Manipal

Udupi, 29 Apr 2013: The students of Asare Special School held a campaign to promote voting in the outpatient ward of KMC Hospital, Manipal, near here on Monday April 29.

The district Electioneering Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dr M T Reju, zilla panchayat CEO S A Prabhakar Sharma, district information officer M Junjanna, block education officer Ashok Kamat, KMC marketing officer Shaija Mathew were present at the occasion.

 

Thousands of outpatients who arrived from across the district and neighbouring districts queued up at the counter, responded positively to the pleas of special students at the occasion.

KMC estate officer Jai Vittal welcomed the gathering.  The medical superintendent Dayanand proposed vote of thanks.
