Udupi: If Congress Comes back to reign, Mangalore – Udupi developed like Mumbai; Dr Parameshwar

Udupi, 22 Apr 2013: If Congress comes back to reign in state administration, Mangalore and Udupi will be developed as Mumbai, said KPCC president Dr Parameshwar.
Addressing the party activists at district Congress Bhavan here on Sunday April 21, Dr Parameshwar said that transparent administration and able leadership is the slogan of Congress for the upcoming assembly elections, while it was determined to protect women and to give political responsibilities, said Dr Parameshwar.
Its during the reign of Congress, 11 lac houses were distributed to poor and homeless, while BJP led state administration has totally failed in this regard. Once Congress comes back to reign, the same programme will be revived, added Dr Parameshwar.
The voters’ verdict in the recently held Urban Local Bodies (ULDs) is clear that Congress has bright chances to regain the state administration. BJP has dishonored the trust of voters in the last assembly elections; while the poll outcome of upcoming elections will bemajor blow to BJP, forecasted Dr Parameshwar.
Congress election publicity Committee president Veeranna Mattikatti, Kaup legislative assembly constituency Congress candidate Vinay Kumar Sorake, Byndoor constituency candidate Gopal Poojary, Kundapur constituency candidate Malyady Shivaram Shetty, Congress leaders Narasimhamurti, Kishan Hegde, Sarala Kanchan, Veronica Cornelio, Neere Krishna Shetty and others were present at the occasion.
Udupi legislative candidate absent; no public meeting

• Udupi legislative candidate and Udupi block Congress Committee president Pramod Madwaraj was absent during the party activists meet that was attended by KPCC president Dr Parameshwar, in spite of Byndoor, Kundapur and Kaup legislative candidates were present at the occasion.
• Despite Dr Parameshwar and Veeranna Mattikatti arrived in the district no public meet was organized. Both of them did not partake in election campaign in none of the constituencies across the district, but left for Madikeri at 1.00pm on Sunday April 21, after party activists meet that was held at party office, here.
