M’lore: Congress Veteran Janardhan Poojary leads Walkathon in Support of J R Lobo in city

Mangalore, 20 Apr 2013: The District Congress Committee (DCC) organized a walkathon from Morgan’s gate to district headquarter here on Thursday April 18 afternoon, to campaign for Mangalore south candidate J R Lob.  

 
The Congress veteran leader Janardhan Poojary led the walkathon accompanied by J R Lobo, KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, youth Congress leaders and women Congress leaders including hundreds of party activists at the occasion.

 

The walkathon began from Morgan’s Gate, passed through Valencia, Kankanady, Dr B R Ambedkar roundabout, Hampankatta and concluded at district headquarter. The public meetings were held en route by Janardhan Poojary and J R Lobo to solicit for votes, while majority of voters responded positively.
