Immense achievement in education by BJP – MLC Karnik
"The BJP government in its 5-year term has achieved a lot when it comes to educational reforms in the state. But the sad part is, people only highlight faults and not our achievement," said MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik.
"In the education sector in the past 3 years, our state has ranked the top as compared to other states. The government in its budget has allotted Rs 18,666 crore to education which is highest ever," he added.

"During our tenure, importance was given to education as it is a vital sector. The credit of establishing knowledge commission in the state also goes to us," said MLC Karnik, adding, "These should be the important topics for discussion in the election."
He further said that the BJP governemnt has also opened one music university, two agricultural universities, one fishing university and a veterinary university and others.
Anand Shetty, Santosh Bejai, Prabhakar Shetty, and Indira Ravi were present.
Lawyer clarifies
Meanwhile advocate M P Noronha said that the case BJP had referred to was still under scrutiny, and that the Lokayukta has not issued any notice to either J R Lobo or to the Congress party.
He also said that the returning officer on Thursday rejected BJP’s objection, and that J R Lobo’s nomination has been accepted and he has been allowed to contest.
He clarified that there is no chargesheet by the police or by the Lokayukta in the matter. Moreover, It is the election commission that has to look into the matter and take a decision, and not the BJP, he said.

This shows how desperate is BJP! When they have nothing to boast positively what else they can do? It is not surprising that MLC Karnic is also started unfolding his true roots. If you cant win lawfully and justly create confusion, arouse emotions and tell the lie repeatedly and fool people with propaganda !! Ho BJP how low you can stoop for the sake of power!! | |

The last government by BJP was not against corruption but against rendering of justice by Lokayukta system. first they did not appoint Lokayukta or tried to appoint persons of unholy background, who were corrupt. Secondy their made evey effort to stay the inquiry or proceedings by High court ignoring full ench judgment opposing staying of investigation by Lokayukta Thus many a complaints have been shelved in pending inquiry and this may be one such case. Unless one is convicted he is not barred. Hence with the limited data availablein my view the ommission may not be a materail fact and Mr Lobo cannot be said to be wrong.-Benedict Noronha. The complaint appears to be a hopeless reaction. |
