Udupi: Shirva Branch of Karnataka Bank relocated to Bantakal Temple Premises

Udupi, 9 Apr 2013: The Karnataka Bank branch of Shirva was relocated to Durgaparameshwari temple premises, Bantakal, near here on Monday April 8.
The zilla panchayat president B Upendra Nayak inaugurated the newly-relocated branch of Karnataka Bank at the occasion.
Fr Charles Lewis, parish priest of Holy Cross parish, Pamboor lighted the lamp.
Karnataka Bank general manager Mahabaleshwar Bhat explained the recent achievement of the Bank at the national outset.
Durgaparameshwari temple managing trustee Sasidar Wagle, trustee Vishwant Nayak, senior religious celebrant Vedavyasaraya Bhat, Padoor Abbettuguttu Dr N S Shetty, Kadtal Ganapati Nayak, Gampadabailu Jayaram Prabhu were present at the occasion.
K Ramaraya Patkar spoke on behalf of the bank customers.
Karnataka Bank regional assistant general manager H P Hande welcomed the gathering. The branch manager M Vittal Wagle proposed vote of thanks. Mangalore regional chief manager Nagesh Rao compered the programme.
