Udupi: Siddaramaiah Supporters offer Puja to Become Future Chief Minister

Udupi, 9 Apr 2013: The process of assembly election is under way. The fate of political party to reign in state administration is yet to be decided. Meanwhile, the well wishers of a few political leaders are already offering puja to God to get a chance to become Chief Minister.
The supporters of Congress leader Siddaramaiah offered puja at Mahalingeshwar temple, Parkala, near here to appease the deity to give a chance to their leader to become the future Chief Minister. About 10 – 20 supporters carried play cards of Siddaramaiah and offered puja to temple deities and broke coconuts on Garuda pole at the temple.
Addressing the media persons, Siddaramaiah supporters local leader Ganesh Raj Saralebettu said that puja was offered at the same temple, seeking the grace of temple deity to win Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde who contested in the parliamentary elections and won. He also expressed hope that Siddaramaiah who is contesting the assembly elections from Varuna legislative constituency will win the elections and becomes the future Chief Minister, said Ganesh.
