Miscreants dash into church door of Infant Jesus Church in Bikarnakatte: incident kept secret..?

Mangalore, 13 July 2010:  Two miscreants dashed their bike into the main door of the Infant Jesus Church in Bikarnakatte on Friday 9th July 2010 at 4 in the evening. However, the church authorities have chosen to keep the matter quiet.

The church security guard informed the police about the incidence and the  police have arrested  two persons and later released them. The accused are reportedly working as  driver and conductor of a city bus in Mangalore.

The miscreants had not consumed any alcohol while dashing their bike into the main door of the church. The infant Jesus Church is the place where a large number of devotees  participate irrespective of caste and creed. The authorities have kept the matter a secret and reasons for the secrecy are not known.
