M’lore: News Karnataka Launches Beta Version of www.newskarnataka.com in City

Mangalore, 18 Mar 2013: News Karnataka with offices in Mysore, Bangalore and UAE, launched its beta English version – www.newskarnataka.com during a function held at Town Hall here on Sunday March 17 evening.  The Kannada version was launched about a year ago has been a great success that has inspired the promoters to launch the beta version. 

The well known city lawyer P P Hegde, the former PM and JDS supremo Deve Gowda’s political advisor Tanvir Ahmed, DCP Dharmaiah, Moodbidri-based Prakruti Group of education institutions correspondent Gerald Crasta, Dakshina Kannada district working journalists’ Association president Harish Rai were the chief guests of the occasion.

 

 
Speaking on the occasion, P P Hegde said commended the efforts young entrepreneurial team of News Karnataka, who has shown the world that India is truly shining.  India is the youngest country in the world with great potential to be entrepreneurs, politicians and more significantly responsible citizens.

Meanwhile, P P Hege, Tanvir Ahmed, DCP Dharmaiah, Gerald Crasta and Harish Rai launched the video episode of Your Choice – Our Voice campaign for peoples’ political leader related to forthcoming legislative assembly elections.

DCP Dharmaiah said that youth entrepreneurs are trying their entrepreneurial skills wide array of opportunities, and find success in their endeavour.  News Karnataka, that is striving to promote Kannada by publishing authentic news on different issues, that too quicker than other news portals.  He also conveyed best wishes for their beta version.

Tanvir Ahmed in his power packed words, kindled the patriotic spirit among the gathering that the country needs entrepreneurs who can sacrifice for better tomorrows.  The youngest country in the world should become all powerful in every sphere, said Tanvir Ahmed.  He urged the youth to join politics to cleanse the rampant corruption, to restore normalcy in divisive forces trying to destroy the social fabric of our great nation, be a nationalist to bring a change that has to come within, urged Tanvir Ahmed.

Harish Rai said that the news updates on www.newskarnataka.com are faster and reliable and authentic that is key factor works for the success of a media enterprise.  A few unprofessional media persons bring bad name to professionals as there lies no standardization, anybody with a little flair for reporting can file their stories most of the time its malicious.  He commended the campaign – Your Choice – Our Voice that was the most innovative idea that has ever taken up by any media firm.  He congratulated the promoters and conveyed every success in their future endeavour.
