Udupi: BJP aims at Self Reliant & Stronger Nation; Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary

Udupi,10 Mar 2013: Each activist has the responsibility to convince the villages on the achievement of BJP-led state government that has completed five-year term, despite chaos by focusing on the prosperity of poor and common folks. There lies the effort of each party activist for the speedy growth of BJP that was mentored by great patriots – Attal Behari Vajpayee and L K Advani. BJP aims at self reliant, stronger nation, said Udupi district-in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.
The minister Kota Srinivas Poojary was speaking after inaugurating BJP party activists convention of Shirva – Shakti Kendra at Hotel Mandara, Shirva, near here on Saturday March 9.
Dakshina Kannada district BJP leader and lawyer Pratapsimkha Nayak in his keynote address said that BJP-led NDA government in the Centre fared better than Congress-led UPA government that has been reigning in the Centre, since the past 9 years because the prices of essential commodities such as rice, petrol, cooking gas etc were cheaper. The terrorism, women atrocities, scams and no value for the lives of Indian soldiers are prevailing during the UPA rule. The BJP-led state government has approved more funds for the welfare of Muslim and Christian communities than the past governments that ruled Karnataka.
Udupi district BJP president Uday Kumar Shetty presided the programme.
Yuva BJP morcha president Rajesh Panjimar felicitated minister Kota Srinivas Poojary at the same occasion.
Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Udupi ZP president B Upendra Nayak, ZP former member Gerald Fernandes, senior lawyer Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Shirva BJP local Committee president Kutyar Naveen Shetty, Kulyady Suresh Nayak, Belle gram panchayat president Rajendra Shetty, Muralidar Pai, Kurkal gram panchayat president Bhuvanesh Poojary were present at the dais.
Kutyar Naveen Shetty delivered the introductory address. Gerald Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Belle gram panchayat former president Sasidar Wagle proposed vote of thanks. Udupi TP former president K Devdas Hebbr compered the programme.
